Extracurricular activities 01.02.2016 - 07.02.2016

We suggest various fun ways to continue improving your Spanish through our extracurricular activities. We´re also organizing a party to celebrate the Carnaval!
Take a look at everything we´re offering this week.

Monday, February 1, 18:20h: Urban art exhibit – We´re going to take a walk around La Plaza del Oeste to look at the art that can be found on every corner. Garage doors have become the perfect canvas for young artists, which will surely move you.
You can find out about the artwork in this neighborhood by visiting this link: http://galeriaurbanasalamanca.es/
Time: 1 hour

Tuesday, February 2, 16:55h: Dance class – This week, we´ll learn the basic steps of Latin dancing. We´ll be the best ones on the dance floor!
Time: 1 hour

Wednesday, February 3, 15:45h: Horseback riding – We´ll go horseback riding in the countryside where the cowboys roam. A unique experience that you can´t miss!
Sign up by Tuesday, February 2 to reserve a spot.

Thursday, February 4, 17:00h: Paddle tennis – Professor Pablo will accompany us to play a game of paddle tennis.
Time: 1 hour

Friday, February 5, 18:30h: Carnaval – We´re going to celebrate Carnaval at Tía Tula! We´ll wait for you in full costume. If you don´t have a costume, don´t worry, we´ll help you think of ideas. :)
Time: 1 hour and 30 minutes

Saturday, February 6 and Sunday, February 7: Trips – This weekend, we suggest checking out the carnavals in Cádiz, or taking a trip to Ciudad Rodrigo or La Alberca.

Please check with the school office for more information.
We´d like to remind you that it´s necessary to sign up for each activity in order to reserve a spot; a minimum of 3 people is normally required. The meeting point is always Tía Tula, unless we inform you otherwise.

The activities are not only for having fun (that´s a guarantee). They´re also meant for you to improve your knowledge of the culture in Salamanca and Spain, and to use the Spanish that you learn in class.
