Extracurricular activities 13.04.2015 - 18.04.2015

What a host of activities we have prepared for this week! Starting with our traditional Lunes de Aguas picnic. Don't miss out!

Monday 13, 2:00 pm: Lunes de Aguas – Although this is not an official festivity, it constitutes a very deep-rooted tradition in Salamanca to gather with friends or family on Lunes de Aguas (the Monday following Easter Sunday), go to the countryside or to the river and have a picnic. Tía Tula is no exception: we are having our picnic by the river and we'll bring hornazo (eating this Salmantinian delicacy on Lunes de Aguas is a must), empanadas and games. Come spend the afternoon with us!

Tuesday 14, 7:00 pm: Exhibition – With “El Cielo en Llamas” we'll get to know how an aurora borealis occurs, some testimonies of auroras happening over Salamanca in the past and a simulation of one over our city.
Approximate duration: 1h.

Wednesday 15, 5:00 pm: Bicycle tour – A different way to discover Salamanca. Join!
Approximate duration: 1h.

Thursday 16, 4:00 pm: Zumba lesson - Come get in shape and have fun with Lourdes as a teacher. If after the lesson you want to keep practising, here is a playlist to dance zumba to
Approximate duration: 1h.

Friday 17, 8:00 pm: Concert – “Ávila, pulso y púa". We will take you to Teatro Juan del Enzina for this peculiar concert. Watch a taster here.

Sábado 18: Excursions – ¿A dónde prefieres ir este fin de semana? ¿A Sevilla, Granada o a Toledo?
Infórmate en secretaría y cuando hayas elegido destino no olvides apuntarte antes del miércoles.
Where would you rather go this weekend? Seville, Granada, Toledo? Get further information at the reception desk and book your spot by Wednesday.

Please don't forget that you need to sign up for each activity at the reception desk (in order to reserve your place). The minimum number of participants required for each activity is usually three. Unless otherwise stated, the meeting point is Tía Tula school. If no price is mentioned in the above description, the activity is free of charge.

Try to participate in as many activities as you can; they are designed not just for you to have fun, but also to improve your knowledge of Salamanca and Spanish culture, and to put into practice the Spanish you have learnt in class.
