Friday night in Salamanca was very
alive with scrolls in traditional costume and singing in the street, it is a celebration to lay flowers in honor of Maria.
During the parade,
there were dances to the sound of castanets,
I really loved it!
Then, I headed to the river to
watch the fireworks, there were a
lot of people ... The atmosphere was
just great. The fireworks lasted for 30 minutes and were the best I've
seen so far.
All the habitants of Salamanca were in the
street, and after the fireworks,
everyone was directed to the Plaza Mayor where there was a concert that began at
23h.
The place was full, we were all stuck
to each other ... the concert was house
and dance music and which was good fun! Everyone was having fun!
Finally, we ended the evening night clubbing with Spanish locals, dancing until 5:00 in the
morning!
