Extracurricular activities 02.05.2016 - 06.05.2016

The month of May has begun, along with sunshine and warm weather, which will allow you to make the most out of this week´s extracurricular activities: a Spanish comedy film, a theater performance, playing board games to improve your language skills, and a tapas tour. To boot, the week started off with a holiday, Labor Day, to celebrate workers around the world.

Monday, May 2: Labor Day (holiday)

Tuesday, May 3, 16:00: Movie – Today we´re showing a film by Spanish screenwriter and film director Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, which will definitely make you laugh. We´ll be waiting for you at school!

Wednesday, May 4, 19:00: Theater – Students of the experimental theater group Musicay will present La Valla, a collective piece based on poetry. The meeting point is Plaza Mayor, under the big clock.

Thursday, May 5, 16:50: Board games – Get ready to practice your Spanish by playing board games with teacher Marién! We´ll meet at the school cafe-snack bar. Remember to sign up before 14:00.

Friday, May 6, 19:30: Tapas tour – To finish off the week, we´ll go on a tapas tour. We´ll meet at the school cafe-snack bar and after visit a few more tapas bars. Don´t miss out! Relax and come have fun with us!

Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8: Excursions – Check with the school secretary to find out about the nearby places you can visit this weekend.

We´d like to remind you that it´s necessary to sign up for each activity in order to reserve a spot; a minimum of 3 people is normally required. The meeting point is always Tía Tula, unless we inform you otherwise.

The activities are not only for having fun (that´s a guarantee). They´re also meant for you to improve your knowledge of the culture in Salamanca and Spain to use the Spanish that you learn in class and meet other students from the school.
