Extra-curricular activities 20th-26th August


Monday 20th, 18.00: Tour of Salamanca. Somebody from the school will tell you the story of the main historical monuments in the centre. Meeting point: Tía Tula Approximate duration: 1h

Tuesday 21st, 19:00: Chocolate with churros: We are going to go and try the famous chocolate and churros Price: +-3.50 euros Meeting place: Tía Tula. Approximate duration: 1h

Wednesday 22nd, 18.00: Cooking class: We´re going to learn how to cook some typical recipes. 5 places only. If you want to go, you have to sign up before the 20/08/12 and have your student card with you. Students who have already done a cooking class with Tía Tula have priority.
Place: nueva "ESCUELA DE HOSTELERÍA SALAMANCA": C/ Santa Marta  nº 24. Approximate duration: 1h30

Thursday 23rd, 19.00: Ride in a boat: Do you dare to row! We´re going to go for a row on the river Tormes. Price: 4 euros Meeting place: Tía Tula. Approximate duration: 1h30.
Friday 24th, 16.30: Film: A brilliant opportunity to immerse yourself in Spanish cinema. Meeting place: Tía Tula

Saturday 25th: Excursion to Ávila, Segovia and La Granja de Ildefonso. For more information, please see the notice board. Please confirm if you are to assist before Wednesday 22/08/12 at 14.00.

Sunday 26th: Excursion Zamora. For more information, please see the notice board. Please confirm if you are to assist before Wednesday 22/08/12 at 14.00.

Remember to sign up for the activity at reception beforehand (the minimum number of people needed for each activity is 3). If the cost is not stated then the activity is free. We recommend our students to participate in the activities so they can get to know other students in the school, so they can broaden their knowledge of Spanish culture and to practice and improve their Spanish in a fun way.
